Number of bags sold:

Our family is in the process of adopting our second daughter from China. We have 3 sons by birth, and adopted our first daughter, Charis, from China almost 3 years ago. Even as we were waiting for Charis' referral, God put 2 little girls in our hearts! On November 21, 2008, we saw Selah Xin Xian's photo for the first time. She is from Guangdong, China and is currently 20 months old. Xin Xian's first name comes from her maternal great-grandmother whose first name was Selah, thus the name for our fundraiser: Sips for Selah.

We need to sell 5,000 bags of coffee or tea in the next 2 weeks to raise the funds needed to bring Selah home. With Christmas just 5 weeks away, our coffee or tea will make a great holiday treat for you and everyone on your list. Each bag sells for $10-$13, and shipping is a flat rate of $5 (continental U.S.), no matter how many bags you order. Plus, out of every 500 bags sold, one lucky winner will be chosen to receive an iPod shuffle! Every bag counts as an entry, and donations count too. The more bags you buy, the more likely you are to win.

It looks like we will be traveling around Christmas. Be a part of our Christmas miracle, and tell everyone you know about Sips for Selah. We are very anxious to bring Selah Xin Xian home, our gift from God.

Once we complete the costs of Selah's adoption, any remaining funds will be used to help other adoptive families. If you have any questions, email us at sipsforselah@gmail.com

Don't drink coffee? Try our tea sips!

Black tea from China: smooth, light-bodied, and wonderfully aromatic.

A Chinese green tea that's been pan fired to dry it. This tea has a semi-sweet and pungent flavor.

Our coffee comes from Café Fair, a company dedicated to making a difference in the world through organic, fairly-traded coffee. Café Fair deals directly with coffee farmers in Mexico, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. Fair trade ensures that the farmers receive a fair price for their coffee that enables them to support their families and farms. All of their beans are shade-grown; instead of clearing land to plant coffee trees, the farmers cultivate the beans from trees grown under the shade of existing forests.

We are offering three unique blends that will appeal to any coffee connoisseur. The freshly-roasted beans are vacuum-sealed with state-of-the art-technology to ensure that the coffee you receive is as fresh as possible. The coffee comes in Earth-friendly bags that can be recycled after removing the tin-tie closure.

We know you'll love this coffee as much as we do.
